The intent of this piece was to represent a facet of my identity through food using a linocut print. After my stepfather came into my life, a lot of things changed. He's from Thailand, and he taught me a lot about opening myself up to new experiences, perspectives, and especially foods. The first food he made me that really opened my eyes to the beauty of what's beyond just our own country is Thai Red Curry which I depicted above with fried salmon on top.
