The goal of this project was to reappropriate an artwork from a selection of artists, from which I chose Keith Harring. His original work titled Best Buddies displayed two friends embracing, with lines irradiating from them representing their happiness. In my appropriation, I represented the same thing in the center, but the friends have found themselves in a chaotic world of loss and heartbreak, and, even despite being cut apart themselves, they are still friends.
